Whale sharks typically come to the Riveria Maya area between May and September, but July and August are peak season for swimming with these gentle giants.

Did you know that whale sharks can grow up to 41 feet long and weigh 47,000 pounds! Seeing them in their natural habitat swimming to the surface to feast on their diet of plankton and krill is a unique and exciting experience.
